WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I recently purchased a BRAND NEW french door refrigerator for our BRAND NEW house on October 29th, 2013. MODEL #WRF736SDAF10 and have been told it is one of the top fridges... We purchased through The Home Depot and had it hooked up ourselves beginning of November. Since day one we had water, but ZERO ice. Between December and last week Whirlpool has sent A and E service out to "repair" it a total of 5 seperate times. A and E which Whirlpool schedules my services through does not work on Saturdays so I have taken more time than I should have off from my job to be there between there 4 hour alloted time slot appointments. Ridiculous-

I have tried over and over to have the frige replaced seeing as it is brand new only a couple months old and has never fully worked like I paid for since I bought it, but get no where with Whirlpool. For a company I thought was good; I am completely horrified at the hassle and stress I have had to deal with in purchasing a BRAND NEW fridge. One human being should not have to deal with this when you spend $2,000.00 on an appliance!!!

In the middle of the multiple times they have "repaired" (FAILED) my fridge; I experienced a water leak coming from inside the fridge. This water leak was from my NEW fridge's water hose inside that was cracked somehow, leaked all throughout my brand new floor and now has caused me to take the time, money, and energy into filing a claim for property damage to be fixed, calling and scheduling repair estimates of local companies to come to house, paying to print photographs off, and my time of course.

I have spoke with Whirlpool on multiple occassions and end up wanting to pull my hair out. On February 27th, 2014 we had the new water hose installed by A and E service and guess what!!!! I STILL HAVE NO ICE!!! And to top it off A WARPED KITCHEN FLOOR IN A BRAND NEW HOUSE WHILE I SIT AND WAIT FOR THEM TO OFFICIALLY PAY AND REPLACE MY FLOORING. WHO KNOWS HOW LONG THAT WILL BE I AM GUESSING MONTHS! I am tired of being told they can't replace under warranty when it is repairable... hmmmmm over 5 times later and STILL NOT REPAIRED!

I called Whirlpool back today have even spoken with supervisors and NO ONE will replace my LEMON of a fridge! I am now going to prepare to have to file with the courts because I feel the fridge I received is a FRAUD and Whirlpool as a company does not care one bit for its customers. There is no reason a brand new fridge that has had multiple issues can't be replaced. I am in shock that no one at Whirlpool will help, because to me it is common sense. WHIRLPOOL HAS SPENT AND WILL SPEND MORE MONEY WITH ALL THE SERVICE CALLS, PART REPLACEMENTS AND COVERING PROPERTY DAMAGE MINIMUM OF TRIPLE WHAT I PAID FOR THE DANG REFRIGERATOR.

The warranty will only cover repairs has yet to work and I am done dealing with time off of work and energy on this fridge. It literally has had me in tears and put me through ***. I feel like I have been beatign a dead horse. Plain and simple this is beyond ridiculous. How many repair attempts does it take before a customer can have an appliance replaced?!?! It is literally 3 months old I am not trying to just get a new fridge I just want what I pay for a working 2,000 dollar fridge that is supposed to be all nice and fancy! I have no faith in this fridge, dealt with unacceptable customer service, and I still presently have a fridge that DOES NOT WORK!!!

We buy brand new and good name brand because we trust in them but to my dissmay I am completely disappointed. I would have had better like buying a used fridge off of Craigslist at this point in time.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

I, too, have this terrible fridge. Same model and purchased at the same time.

My entire kitchen is ruined as it leaked under my laminate and damaged most of my subfloor. Whirlpool is worthless garbage. I had a problem with a year old front loader washer and they spent more money fixing it than it cost. They only repaired it because I hounded them relentlessly.

No more Whirlpool, Maytag or Kitchenaid for me. It makes me sad that I canโ€™t support this company since my husband is from a city near Whirlpool headquarters but I canโ€™t continue to buy junk.

Bought the same model early last year, no ice maker issue; but leaking is big one. As soon as I turn on valve, water is out...Whirlpool asked for $300 service charge. Really sad.

Same model bought from Home Depot in 2014. Leaking from the bottom and damaged hardwood floor, I was told by service to replace water filter.

For a while, I had time to remove old filter. Leaking is still a problem after replacing the filter....
