Need a conversion kit or kit that works for FG/NOV water heater models due to them putting left handed threaded defective thermocouple on it. You can't buy left handed threaded thermocouples. Why? Cause they want you to buy another water heater. Scammed!

Bought a Whirpool hot water heater. After three weeks, it stopped working. Have been without hot water for four days. Service center won't believe us, says if there is a burner, it is hot. They gave three companies to call, no answer at two. Too far for third.

Follow-on comment: Home made heater fix still working. Now it appears that Whirlpool offers the re-designed drain tube for about $35(should be "on them").

I purchased a 40 gallon hot water heater on June 29, 2011. On July 14, 2012 it quit working. The Whirlpool 40 gallon hot water we replaced was not quite 3 years old. So there seems to be a quality problem with their hot water heater. The end of May 2011 we...
