I bought the Whirpool washer at Lowes. After 14 months the unit isn't working.

A sensor that allows water to enter the machine is shutting down so the water cannot enter the unit. The part is not being manufactured currently- whirlpool has had multiple issues with many customers with this part. They are searching for a new manufacturer to build the sensor. Customer Service Rep by the name of Shannon is useless and doesn't care about the problem.

Even the whirpool technicians in the Dallas area are laughing at this situation. It's pathetic.

A product becomes useless after just 14 months with no solution at hand.I will never buy another Whirlpool again. They are mass produced without the proper foresight into handling and manage problems down the road. This company is BAD!

We are having a similar problem. Ours was a pressure switch that lasted 4 months and then we get the same code F35.

After 3 switches we are now down to a main control unit. Great we found the problem but that product has been on back order since August and today is December the 31st... What a horrible company it is just pathetic. We have spent 45 min on the phone with them and gotten nothing out of them.

It is great to spend a grand on a washer to have zero support after you buy it.. No company to back up a product that they put on the shelf. We are so done with Whirlpool never again in my house.

We will let our friends and family know about this. Buy out Maytag and can not even support your own products...

Same problem with ours and from researching the problem, many others have the same problem.!

"F35" / "Suds" code 14 months after we purchased washer. Hose / air trap is clear and the hose from the analog pressure switch is connected properly.

The appliance tech we had come out to look at the washer determined that the analog pressure switch was defective. He told us that this is a common problem with this washing machine. Whirlpool supervisor Michael (female) stated that they could send tech out - and charge us for the call - to diagnose problem. She refused to transfer me to someone who could help and couldn't comprehend that the "it's out of warranty" excuse isn't a proper defense for a product defect.

There are MANY posts about Analog Pressure Switch problems with this washing machine.

The posts about Whirlpool's poor customer service are absolutely accurate. They are horrible - good luck in getting them to work with you. We read the reviews for the Whirlpool Duet Steam washing machine before purchasing one and we disregarded the bad ones as disgruntled customers.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE MADE. After my conversation with their customer service dept today, I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool product again.

Defective parts happen. Refusing to fix a known problem is unacceptable.
