I paid appx $1,800 for this range. Top of the line Whirlpool. Has cosmetic defects in top oven. After running the cleaner it bleached parts of the oven white. Whirlpool said they do not cover cosmetic faults in their products.
The range top had to be replaced due to blister type faults in the ceran top. Whirlpool said they do not cover this either (but they did).
They don't warranty their own faulty products.
How would you like to buy a product that looks like *** after just a couple of months? I am not happy about this at all. I bought my home and put all Whirlpool Gold Stainless Steel appliance in it, and am stuck with defective products because I can't afford to replace them.
If this comment can help at least one person to not get screwed by Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag (all the same company, Whirlpool) then I will be glad.
Monetary Loss: $1.
