Poor performance of both appliance and warranty

I had a new whirpool refrigerator to replace a similar 4 year old whirpool refrigerator. The warranty company tried to repair it three times before declaring it non repairable. Each time I call the whirpool / AIG warrany line I am on hold for more that two hours. Once I scheduled a call for two weeks in the future and they called via recording to tell me they didn't have anyone that could speak with me. Whirpool makes a poor product. They know it. They make money on the warranty that they have no intention of honoring if your refrigerator is not repairable. They use long wait times, long hold times and delays in repairs as a tool to reduce warranty cost and increase profits.

User's recommendation: Do not buy a whirpool for GOD'S sake don't buy the AIG warranty.

I too have a non functioning whirlpool refrigerator 10 months old 3 service calls from Fields Appliance repair last tech told me I have a system refrigerant leak unknown.The proper fix would be refund or replacement NOT aggravation and food loss!!!

Hello everyone, well my third lid has now broken. I received the replacement March of 2021.

It broke last week so it lasted a little over a year. Maytag (Whirlpool) will not cover a new lid. I will now have to buy a new machine getting rid of a machine that is only 4 years old. I went through 3 lids in 4 years!

I escalated the issue with Whirlpool, and got no where. It was like talking to a robot. They refuse to stand by their product. I have contacted an attorney who is willing to review the issue and quite possibly be interested in filing a class action lawsuit.

Whirlpool customer service

Customer service not answering. Then the auto machine said it would be a week before someone got a hold of me. I finally got a hold of them Monday and its still going to be a week before they even call me.

Could never talk to anybody

My whirlpool dishwasher is broke. I tried every number I found and could never get a sole. All I got was the stupid computer and when I would hit option 4 for short problem it never recognize my request wouldnt let me put in my phone number and option 3 kept telling me I had to wait a week for a return call and your stupid website told me I had to wait a whole week

Unacceptable consumer treatment

NeRefrigerator ordered through Home Depot and delivery arrangements through Whirlpool. After being told unit would be delivered delivery never occurred and all items spoiled. Numerous attempts made to discuss compensation and never once a call was returned. Last representative simply said the company would never return the call. As the consumer it seems someone at Whirlpool would care.

I have been trying to reach a person for an HOUR and the BEST I can get is a call back in 4 days!!! That’s ridiculous! I need help immediately.

I bought a house Dec 21 in San Diego as a 2nd home. Moved in late Feb 22. Brand new dishwasher is leaking, destroyed my kitchen floor to the tune of $2500 cuz we didnt know it was leaking. (Im not there full time). Fixed the floor and can now see it is definitely leaking from the dishwasher. I have guests coming in 3 days and I cant talk to anyone about the warranty! I need help fast! Broken washer

Technician just left. 1 month old and it already needs a new control board!!! Plus he stated It should be on its own circuit! Now we have to get electrician to run 2 seperate 110 lines on their own circuit breaker one for the washer and one for the gas dryer??!?? Not impressed and very frustrated!!! Warranty amd appliance

I have yet to reach an actual human being to take care of my appliance issue!! Unbelievable that they do not have actual people that can assist with any issues and or troubleshooting help. I purchased my appliances from Lowes, bought the 3 years extended warranty and Lowes won't even assist with anything as well.
