Pissed Consumer Interviews ?

Video interviews are designed to showcase real customer experiences with a variety of companies. They give consumers a chance to tell their side of the story and expand upon their original complaint posted to PissedConsumer.com

I bought a new side-by-side Amana refrigerator on the 3rd week of November. When it was delivered, it needed several shelves, including a meat/cheese drawer. I had never heard of a refrigerator before that, that did not have a meat/cheese drawer. I called Whirlpool and gave them the serial and model number of the refrigerator and worked with the operator, who said he had 35 years of experience, to be sure the right parts would come.I needed a meat/cheese drawer, an extra door bin and a freezer shelf. So on December 5th, I ordered those parts. The order was expensive, at over $400 for those few parts. I was told I would receive an invoice via e-mail within a few minutes. I never received any invoice at all. When the parts came, only the door bin fit. Instead of a small cheese/meat drawer, they sent a huge bin. The freezer shelf also was too long. I looked through the boxes for any invoice--there was none. So I spent almost $80 to ship the parts that did not fit, back to the company. When I received no refund, I e-mailed their customer service. I received a reply telling me to call the company. After being told by 3 different departments that my order did not exist, my e-mail did not exist, etc. I was finally told that oh, yeah, they did have a record of my order but since they did not know what address I sent the parts back to, they could not give me a refund. This process has been exhausting, disappointing and very expensive. I do not recommend Amana or ay Whirlpool products because though their robo-assistant on the phone kept insisting how important customers are, they take no responsibility whatsoever for any accountability on their part.

The technician who came to check out my washer lid ordered a new lid, both hinges, and bearings. The parts were back-ordered, but they are supposed to ship out to my home tomorrow. The Whirlpool technician is currently scheduled to come in to install the parts on...

Purchased my washer 12/2018; I Was not aware of any problem with the lid until yesterday, Aug 2019. The lid to my washer shattered before my eyes.

Now after reading all the complaints about this same problem and Whirlpool being aware of it, i demand a refund for both washer and dryer.

I bought the dryer because it mached the washer. This is ridiculous.

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator almost a year several months ago I noticed that things in the refrigerator were freezingseveral months ago I noticed that things in the refrigerator were freezing despite the recommended setting. I then started monitoring the temperature with a probe and found that the refrigerator temperature varies between 31 degrees and 41 degrees. the freezer goes up to 15 degrees.consumer reports says that a refrigerator should only very plus or minus one degree and mine varies plus or minus 5.the FDA says that refrigerators should be below 40 degrees and freezers should be at 0. after 6 service calls Whirlpool claims that plus or minus 5 degrees is normal.it may be normal for there refrigerators but it's not normal for any other company

Whirlpool in Minburn, Iowa - A gas range that died after 3 years

I purchased a Whirlpool gas range model WFG540H0ES0 three years ago. The oven quit working and the cost of repair was estimated at $900.00. I bought the range a Home Depot and paid $526.47 for it. When I contacted Whirlpool the passed to buck to Home Depot. I order 7 appliances and 3 of them were defective and 2 were replaced. If you are looking for a quality American product you WILL NOT find it manufactured by Whirlpool. Buy anything other than Whirlpool.

Whirlpool - Failed to address service issue

2.1
Details
Refrigerator freezer light switch fails to operate. Machine is under warrantee. Technician uses a hair dryer to get switch to work. Leaves. Switch fails again one hour later. Service says they can only send techician again to do what ever he sees fit. They refuse to allow any supervisor to discuss the issue. Based on their failure to allow any senior person to discuss the issue. I will never purchase any Whirlpool product again.
