In october 2018 I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator and was under warranty from day 1. The above the door freezer was frosting so the company changed the motor, door and thermostat over a period of 8 months with no solution to the frosting.

They adviaed me there was no resolution to my problem as it was environmental and due to the humidity. After complaining through Pissed.com I received a reply from Whirlpool and after emailing and calling them and asking about a "buyback" option, they finally agreed to send me a check for my purchase price.

I am very grateful to Pissed.com and Whirlpool's complaint review department for finally resolving my freezer compartment problem. I sincerely hope they will look into this particular model of refrigerator to remedy the frosting.
