Whirlpool - Disappointed
I bought a whirlpool range, had for less than a month. The front door behind the handle gets so hot it burnt me.
Whirlpool technician said it was “normal” and needed nothing done. I explained the outside of a stove should not be almost as hot as the inside when in use. Very dangerous. I’m taking the stove back where I bought it and exchanging it before someone gets seriously hurt.
The black in the stove is even turning gray and discoloring from the heat. We tested the temps ourselves, which they didn’t do.
I even have range of temps that will burn you. I’m so disappointed that whirlpool says this is acceptable.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Whirlpool Pros: Looks.
Whirlpool Cons: Quality stinks, Cheaply made product, Quality of their appliances, Quality of product.

I had the same problem, so I exchanged the range for another one only to have the same issue. This range is dangerous!!!!
There must be something wrong with the oven door not shutting properly. You can feel heat escaping from the oven and the top of the door gets to hot to touch at a temperature of 190 degrees. I burned my leg while taking something out of the oven.
Do not purchase this range. Buyer beware!!
