I have the model WTW7800XW0 and there is a huge mold problem. I have had the machine for about 7 years and the mold is everywhere. Just poke your head into the unit and see mold between the outer and inner drum. It's also above the drum. I routinely run those useless and expensive Affresh tablets that Whirlpool invented to combat its well know mold issue. I have been getting reimbursement from Whirlpool for 3 years to help with my health insurance. When one exchange took over in January I haven't got reimbursement. Have called them many times, no help. Last time I called girl told me they were out of money. Can someone help me.

Bought a whirlpool washer thinking they were quality. How wrong was I?! Less than 2 years and the machine stops working! Whirlpools response you ask, sorry nothing we can do! Will never by another whirlpool!!!!

Bought a Whirpool hot water heater. After three weeks, it stopped working. Have been without hot water for four days. Service center won't believe us, says if there is a burner, it is hot. They gave three companies to call, no answer at two. Too far for third.

I am extremely disappointed in Whirlpool. I bought a side by side refrigerator May 2016 and within a month the ice dispenser did not work, the ice was all over the floor, the technician came and fixed it. Two weeks later the ice maker was not making any ice, they came and fixed it, put in a new ice maker, today the ice maker is not working again, they are giving me a new ice maker, two of the shelves now cracked, the glue has become separated... Have a side by side refrigerator that has a major cooling problem. The refrigerator is just over a year old and the 1 year manufacturer warranty expired. Called and was offered an extended warranty through AIG. Sounded good so we signed up for it. Had a service tech come out and examine the refrigerator and he sent his estimates to AIG/Whirlpool. We are still waiting for the service company to come with the part from the appointment on the 4th of this month, they didn't even bother to let us know how long it will be. A different issue arose two weeks later and they refuse to have that issue serviced until they come to install the part from the first service call. The part's ETA is the 31st of this month. We registered a fault with our Whirlpool oven on Dec 6th and an engineer called on Dec 13th. He said we needed a new control board which he would order. Another engineer came out on Dec 19th but the wrong part had been ordered - This is where our problems really began. We were told that the right part wasn't available, would need to be ordered and wouldn't arrive until Jan 6th at the earliest. This would leave us without an oven over Christmas.... Read more

I bought a whirlpool refrigerator in Feb. 2016. WRT31152DWOO the product has broken two times within a three week span with parts replaced Dec.15, 2016 and Jan. 7 2017. I called the company to tell them the refrigerator does not work. Lid cracked like everyone has been complaining about and Whirpool does nothing. I called customer service and they say they have no issue and no documentation about this problem. I told them they should check online and start listening to the consumers. Supervisor told me I should not believe everything on Internet.
